Island countries exercise an allure beyond their geography and beauty. The form of their locomotion; the sea provides all so getting about on her is of utmost importance.The uloo or canoe of the Kuna is a prime example of boat design. Gracefully long and narrow with plenty of sail. Each boat is hand carved from a tree dragged down from the jungle, distinctively painted inside and coated with pitch to waterproof.
