_____standing rigging as visible from deck
_____running rigging - meathooks, shackle condition, splices, rope
_____gooseneck - secure, weld cracks, pin and hole wear
_____boom and related hardware and lines - check outhaul and line
_____boom roller reefing - free and in working condition?
_____mast step - check for structural problems and corrosion
_____mast partners - check for deterioration and distortion
_____mast electronics - check lights, instruments for operation
_____inspect mainsheet traveler
_____check all halyard stoppers

ALOFT CHECK THESE ITEMS:

_____halyards
_____halyard sheaves - check for wear, free movement and lube
_____cotter pins
_____tangs and bolts - tightness, wear, weld cracks, distortion
_____upper swages - cracks and elongated holes
_____standing rigging - worn or broken wires
_____blocks - structural condition and free movement, lube
_____shackles
_____sail track - clean and lube, fastenings?, damage?
_____spreaders - security, finish condition, shrouds seized

ROLLER FURLING:
_____lead at proper angle?
_____lube bottom end, if needed and requested
_____lube top end, if needed and requested
_____lube halyard swivel
_____check system - free working, furling line run fair?

WINCHES:

_____replace springs and pawls if needed
